Usually your arms, hands, feet, legs, neck, back, stomach, and buttock muscles are all areas that receive attention throughout your appointment to varying degrees. When booking your appointment if certain areas need to be avoided or focused on, please let us know depending on how you feel and what you want.
Comfort during the appointment is our top priority. Clothing can make it impossible to provide a helpful massage. However, if you have serious reservations about modesty, or would like your massage therapist to stay away from a certain area of your body, you can always make those requests known to us when you book your appointment.
Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of heated cups. Its practice mainly occurs in Asia but also in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
A Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and helps to reduce tension in your muscles and tissue.
You don't need to necessarily shower right before your massage, but we do request that you come to your appointments clean and free of fragranced personal care products.
It is important for you inform you therapist of your up to date. Not all types of massage are appropriate for all conditions.
